Organized as a non-profit organization, NAWBO Central Illinois' objectives are:

to encourage business ownership by women;
to support women who own and operate businesses;
to foster the economic stability of businesses owned and operated by women;
to improve the climate for entrepreneurship of small and growing businesses at local and state levels;
to provide a national and international link to other women business owners;
to foster leadership by women who own and operate businesses; and
to provide an avenue for, and encourage participation in, the public policy-making process locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.
